We are pleased to announce that the Call for ºÚÁÏÍøAwards 2025 is now open! ºÚÁÏÍøconfers several prestigious awards, presented at the ºÚÁÏÍøWorld Congresses, that recognize outstanding contributions to political science and include a monetary prize. 

ºÚÁÏÍømembers are invited to submit nominations before 1 November 2024 for the two awards: The Karl Deutsch Award and the Prize of the Foundation Mattei Dogan. Nominations for these awards can be submitted in one of the following ways:

a) by a national association of IPSA;

b) by an ºÚÁÏÍøResearch Committee (RC);

c) jointly by two or more ºÚÁÏÍømembers in good standing of at least two different nationalities;

d) by an incumbent ºÚÁÏÍøExecutive Committee (EC) member;

e) from outside IPSA, by established academic institutions active in political science.

You can also submit your application for the Global South Award, Stein Rokkan Travel Grant Award and the ºÚÁÏÍøGuillermo O’Donnell Award for Latin-American Scholars by 1 March 2025. 

Launched at the 2023 ºÚÁÏÍøWorld Congress in Buenos Aires, the ºÚÁÏÍøGuillermo O'Donnell Award for Latin-American Scholars was established to recognize early-career scholars who obtained their Ph.D. within the past seven years, with no age restriction. The award is named in honor of Prof. Guillermo O’Donnell, IPSA's Past President and one of Latin America’s most prominent political scientists. The award will be presented for the first time at the 2025 World Congress in Seoul.
